In today’s global environment, we are seeing a huge increase in cyber threats, corporate espionage and accidental or malicious data leaks. Covertix decided to take a data-centric security approach. The data found within the protected files are encrypted and only authorized viewers can see the data and perform authorized actions with it. It enables organizations to protect selected files, shared or stored on any platform and no matter where it comes to rest. Covertix suggests a staggered approach to understand what information is considered confidential, how are the files used and by whom. This will give true insight into how to build a policy without affecting business continuity
